Back-end check processing
The Ocius system enables the timely and accurate processing of
premium payments, that not only to maximize cash flow, but also
customer service. Checks and remittances are processed using state-of-
the-art NCR scanners and reconciled against with the Ocius
system. Once approved the checks are endorsed and forwarded to
Ocius' client's bank for clearing, while the funds are automatically
withdrawn from the relevant accounts.

Advanced bill/remittance printing and mailing services
With the Ocius system client's bill presentment takes advantage of
the latest technology transforming remittances into highly readable
documents for delivery and payment. This enables clients to develop
custom notes each month to their tenants which are incorporated
with billing break-down information. Additionally, the Ocius system
cleanses tenants address information to ensure US Mail Automation
rates apply for the out-going Remittances - a saving of over 40%.

Transactional database integration
The Ocius system is designed around a Clustered
SQL2000 database providing enhanced performance,
scalability, and reliability. This structure allows
Ocius to respond to their diverse client requirements
and interface with their varied systems dynamically.

Legacy database integration
The Ocius system integrates the Remittance and
payment information with Ocius' client accounting
systems. The system is designed to interface with
numerous distributed systems of varying degrees of
complexity, from DOS based systems such as
RentRoll to high-end Oracle databased servers such
as Yardi.

Utility Billing services
The Ocius system provides a unique online billing
program to match property management's needs and
utility costs. These costs can range from fixed
community charges to charges resulting from remote
water meter readings. The Ocius system collated and
allocates these charges to the appropriate Tenants
and incorporates them within the billing cycle.

Electronic payment options
The Ocius system enables a variety of rent payment methods
both on- and off-line. Tenants may make secure, online
payments to their property managers, using electronic funds
transfer from a checking account, savings account or credit
card. Residents may also make their payments via credit card
or electronic funds transfer without a computer either though
a standing order agreement or a phone based system.

Web-based Administration interface
The Ocius system enables clients to self manage their
property's cash management. A secure web-farm enables
client staff to log into the Ocius site and manage their
incoming payments and rectify problem payments. In
addition, the Ocius system develops daily summary emails
that ensure effective cash management communication
within the Client organization.
